The Vice-President is a bona-fide final year student elected for a period of one year.
He will assist the President and the Chairman(Cultural activities/Sports) in all the Gymkhana matters.

General Secretary is a bona-fide student elected for a period of one year.
He is the secretary of the GC. He will convene meetings, prepare agenda and maintain the minutes of the meeting
He will co-ordinate the overall functioning and activities of the Gymkhana under the supervision of the Vice-President and the guidance of the President.
He will be the convener of the annual Technical festival Committee of NIT, Silchar along with the Vice-President.
He will present the annual report at the general body meeting of the Gymkhana..
He shall take necessary steps on the above with the consent of the Vice-President.

GENERAL SECRETARY(CULTURAL) AND HIS FUNCTIONS
General Secretary(Cultural) is a bona-fide student elected for a period of one year.
He will co-ordinate all cultural activities of Gymkhana.
He will exercise financial control on all Secretaries of under Cultural Committee selected by G.C. under the consent of Vice –President and the General Secretary(Gymkhana).
He will act as the principal contact in matters related to the various Cultural meets.

GENERAL SECRETARY(TECHNICAL) AND HIS FUNCTIONS
General Secretary(Technical) is a bona-fide student elected for a period of one year.
He is appointed as the Chief Coordinator of Technical Fest of NIT Silchar: Tecnoesis.
He conducts various technical activities through out the year.
He is responsible for conducting regular events related to his port-folio.
He is responsible for maintaining website of Gymkhana Union Body, NIT Silchar & addresses Internet issues.
