A Royal Indian Carnival

The cultural fest of NIT Silchar, also known as Incandescence, is a grand spectacle filled with joy and entertainment for one and all at NITS as well as for those outside the college. Incandescence stands apart for being one of the most vibrant, energetic and enthusiastic events in the Northeast. Being not merely a cultural festival, Incandescence today is a brand of nationwide repute which is built, graced and maintained by the presence of artists from across the country and participation from all across the nation. 29 states, different cultures but one fest, this time Incandescence is back again this year with the theme ‘The Royal Indian Carnival'.

Spring Fiesta of NIT Silchar

We have POSUA, a cultural weekend based on the rich and ever warming cultural heritage of Assam. Organised during the season of Bohag Bihu, it marks the beginning of the Hindu Solar Calender. It is a day of frolic, entertainment and feasting. Popular singers like Dikshu, are invited for the heartfelt celebrations of Bihu in the campus of NIT Silchar.

“SRiJaN 1.0” is the first version of National Innovation and Entrepreneurship Summit organised by E Cell NIT Silchar. It is a unique initiative to motivate and educate people about entrepreneurship and to provide a meeting ground for Corporate experts and young budding entrepreneurs from NIT Silchar as well as several distinguished institutions across the country.
